it is a rwd car, usually gets towed from the rear. In most cases though the front end will be to low having it lifted from the rear, so request a flatbed.

yea and the manifold is so poorly designed and the turbo is to big for it...it has to be picked up as it is in that pic (minus the DP) and put on the car. Can't reach the nuts on the T4 flange to do the turbo serperately after its in the car...So yes, it is very heavy.

Even just package a V-band flange, the correct tight radius 90* bend, and the two 45's plus a cat flange and let them weld it together themself?
I made mine with relative ease...But because the design of the ebay manifold its going to be tough to make a universal fit DP that is going to fit with no modifications...Once you start to get into adding spacers to fit the turbo it completely alters the fitment of the downpipe. Same goes for...

You are right it is sheet metal, so is your frame rails, so are you strut towers, so are your a/b-pillars....
If it was flat sheet metal then I see your point, but it has been stamped/formed to give it rigidity. It is alot stronger than it looks. It isn't all wavy just for looks. That VASTLY...
