The 88 is overkill for 500hp, un-needed lag. the 35R or the standard 40-82 would be more suited to a 500hp goal and will spool quicker.

Dont know what spl is, but there is a gt40-88 and gt40-88R (R denotes ball bearing). They will all come with large exhaust housings, I would ask to have a custom one put on. (mine is .81a/r)

58mm inducer, 82mm exducer, 50trim 77.5mm turbine That is a gt40-82, that should be the comp. wheel you have, but not the same turbine. That said, those numbers make me a little sad, hopefully with some tuning I can pull off 500whp on pump gas. (22-ish psi)
