I did try my local Pepboys and my autozone but they both do not have anything that I need but I still will check out some other autopart stores to see if they have anything.
I ordered a magnetic oil drain plug for my 87 Toyota Supra Turbo but when I took off the stock plug I noticed that the new magentic plug is smaller that the stock plug. It says on the package that it is for Toyota models but obviously not for my supra lol. I was just wondering if anyone knows...
Yes you can use older motor mounts on a newer engine because I have a 1991 JDM motor and I used the stock 87 motor mounts for my 87 supra so if he is going to use the square motor mounts in the 86.5 subframe then yes it will work:biglaugh:.
NO their is differences in the years because their is two types of motor mounts the square type like in the older supras mk3 supras and the circular type like in the newer mk3 supras.

You might get it out of the cat but then you might also get it stuck in your magnaflow muffler so I would try and take the cat off of your Supra so you do not get it in the muffler.
Where I live they just put the hose to the exhaust and give me the test results but good thing they do not look under the car or under the hood:evil2: because I would defiantly not pass:biglaugh:.
You might have to put one or two small holes in the middle section in your Supra because there is a extra metal tab sticking out of the middle section of the taillights. I say one or two because one of the metal tabs was intact in my middle piece but the other one was rusted off so I couldn't...
If it is not to hard depending on your custom 3" piping I would take the cat off of the car, but if the cat has a warranty you should take it to your muffler shop.
Can you tell me if your engine light is on when the car is not started and the key is in the on position? I have the exact same problem in my 87 toyota but the wire that goes to the alternator toutched the block and now I also have interior electrical problems as well.
