If you do go Auto you should sell me all your 5pd parts left over. lol
Btw, a WRX w/ 4 spd auto would be boring. I use to have a auto base model Impreza and I wanted to roll it from a cliff.
I think you should take a hit for the team and find out for us.
You could use that money I sent you for the rear Tokico shocks to help cover it.. j/k :P
For a stock engine sure, but I'm thinking maybe for someone who would making slightly over 500whp. Maybe between 500-550whp. Sorry, I should've made that clear.
In that case would a Walbaro/ a inline pump be the best and cheapest solution?
I'm just trying to dig up some info on the Powerslot rotors that MVP Motorsports and Driftmotion both sell. On MVP's own website they state that the rotors are poor quality and recommend Rotora (which is weird because I don't know why they would carry them if they say they're crap)
At any...
I alway thought the JDM 2JZ-GTE 440's were high impedance injectors and the USDM 550's were low. I know w/ the 1JZ 370's and 2JZ 440's you shouldn't need a injector resistor correct?
At any rate, what are the limits of the Walbaro 255 and Denso pumps? When would one need to run two run...
I think I also focus more my engine and refuse to cut corners in that area. Or in general anything that would cause reduced safety. I'm all about clean looking, safe Supra, the speed is just a bi-product.
In terms of my wheels however, I'm not trying to go too expensive because I frankly...
A MKIII as a lead? Yeah, it would be nice to finally get some exposure for our cars... maybe that would also lead to more avaibility of parts and then inflate the prices.
It's pretty much whatever though, because sometimes it's nice to have a car that's completely forgotten about.
I'm looking for to the movie due to the simply fact it's one of the rare car movies out there. I don't really see anyone else doing much better. I haven't seen the trailer yet because my internet is garbage, but I'd give my left nut to see another MKIV Supra that is wingless in a clean dark...
Maybe you should consider looking up Dr. Tweak to do your harness for you. I've heard nothing but good things about the guy.
Also, by the time you get finished having a shop screwing w/o the common courtesy of a reach around you probably wish you had just tackled it yourself.
Just my two...
Hmm, this topic is getting pretty interesting. How about Tenzo? They are roughly the same price range as XXRs. How are they in terms of the quality, strength, and weight?
Thanks for all the replies here guys. Like I said I just needed to vent.
I know for a fact that my Paypal wasn't hacked though. I don't know what the problem was, but it was solved when I tried using the same government computer that got my paypal access resricted in the first place...
Alright, I decided to revive this old thread rather than make a new one. I saw someone selling a Turbonetics bolt on 60-1 and I'm just wondering if this would get me into the ballpark of around 400-450 (closer to 450 hopefully) on a 1JZ w/ a stockblock and proper supporting mods. I'm basically...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I always thought that the 550cc injectors could safely make around 450 w/o being past 80% of the injector's duty cycle. That being said 471whp would be possible, just not exactly safe either.
Let me know if my injector math is jacked up.
This I guess belongs in the off topic lounge, but the reason I'm posting on SupraMania because it's related to me trying to buy parts for my rebuild, I'm also hoping one of the members might be able to help, and I need to relieve some stress due to the Christmas season. I've been a Paypal...
I'd love to attempt a rear seat delete this Spring running a decent set of 12s or maybe just a single. I seldom ever have to worry about a single passenger, so I'm sure I wouldn't lose any sleep over not having rear seats.
Has anyone on here had any sucess with this?
