What did you try? Adding a relay or adding a spare bulb into the opposite holder that the HID kit is plugged into? The "HEAD" relay with no "dimmer" relay confirms you have a negative based system so, the relay mod should get things going, I have fitted this with complete success on 3 supras...

As above - I'd try a different battery, I have had battery connections fail internally and cause this sort of thing, seems to tie in with the wiggling of the terminal thing too.
