I would say it's probably an issue with any rad that's deeper than the stock one. I'll try and write up the fan ECU mod soon, it's pretty simple, you would still need at least 1 additional relay & power feed to switch the fans but, that's it.

Update: 21/04/2010 Time to update the progress on this build again. Various things moving forward, if it were not for a water pump deciding to spontaneously leak on the shaft seal through lack of use I'd be getting an MOT today instead of stripping out the hydro fan system & timing gear...
