if u let the car get to operating tempature it will stop. Besides if it was a bhg u would smell alot or anti-freeze with the amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. Yes the cars are non for bhg but u have to drive it to get a bhg.

When u put the timing belt on did u have No. 1 at tdc? When u check the timing are you jumping the 2 terminals on the dianostic port? I see u said something about moving a tooth on the cps. Why do that if you did'nt have to take it out?
