I just checked my gauge with the engine off and it reads like 2 on the vacuum side, so does that mean that i bought a shitty gauge and my 7m is really boostin like 7lbs of boost then?

positive i dont have a vacuum leak, I just replaced every hose inthe car. And I just got finished with a rebuild with wiseco pistons and eagle rods, and so on.....as for power adders, I really dont have that much. I just assumed that when the throttle was put to the floor that the boost gauge...
Okay, whenever I am cruising down the highway and my car is reading vacuum (aftermarket gauge btw) and I hit the throttle my gauge still reads like 2 onthe vacuum side. Now...I was wondering if its supposed to go straight to zero or if this is normal. The reason this is confusing me is that at...
Just so you know, those mods arent gonna give you 500whp. It may give you the foundation for those numbers but without a bigger turbo and more fuel, it wont happen.

Pulled n/a motor, swapped gte motor in
pulled motor again, rebuild time
forged internals
new hoses
new turbo
fmic w/ hardpipes
six puck ceramic clutch
swapped cloth interior...
After reading that, its clear you need to start doing some research. You can think it all day, but doesnt mean its gonna happen. A bigger AFM doesnt eliminate fuel cut and definitely not an upgraded turbo. Stop worrying about modding your car to beat some guys camaro...
