nevermind, I got it in....dremel's get you out of the tightest situations, even if you have to remove a metric buttload of material. for future referance, be prepared to bust out the dremel and some prying tools...If you don't own a dremel or aren't moderately skilled with one, don't buy one!

ok, so i bought one of those aftermarket shifter ball seats brought up a while ago. Got the other misc. gasket to install when i do it as well. I've got everything torn apart now, thinking that the installation would be as simple as the website instructed...place the seat on the pins upside...

eh, probably because i've been driving for under 2 years...and only 2 months with manual transmission...and only 3 weeks without power steering. Throw inexperience with loss-of-control and evasive maneuvers in and you can probably make a pie chart showing why my passenger side looks like crap...
