re-checked what taillights I could...i'll have to get a buddy to help out with the brake lights though, didn't see any damage to the wiring, but I did see a little 2-prong connector in the middle of the hatch which I assume are the 3rd brake light wires...i'll have to check though. My rear trim...

Got a new car ('87 Turbo)...and a lot of questions on things that I've never encountered on my old N/A beater. Any help is greatly appreciated 1. what does a valve slap sound like, anybody have a clip? When idling my car I have a really inconsistant, faint, almost like your loosly snapping...

oh yeah it's always my fault, never the car's...i wouldn't be suprised if it decided to eject me out the window after those first few weeks I had it it. Praise the lord it was only an N/A! you know your a supra owner when hurting your car makes you feel like a little piece of you just died :(

i'm a dummy when it comes to turbos....but 10psi at 100CFM is a whole different thing than 10psi at 200CFM pressure doesn't equal volume...it takes a lot less air to make 10psi in a 1" cube than it is to make 10psi in a 1' cube. Now just figure those cubes as everything from the compressor to...

oh I know the M series motors have always been designed N/A...i just like the other theory better :icon_razz

N/A is the best way to start with the supra IMO...especially if your young like us. You get decent power, and although the supra bug is still there, it isn't as bad as the "fix one thing, break another" condition i hear a lot of turbo owners talking about. I haven't had to bust into the engine...
