Sure. In many cases, the Lex electronics cause problems, PNs on Toyota electronics don't always tell the whole story. 'Should have been no change in closed loop, and only a marginal change (if any) in open loop. This will not cause you to run rich unless you REALLY messed up something along...

Not really, AFAIK water is allowed to enter the door. If it's rotting out it's probably because the drain has become obstructed.

I've heard speculation that the SAFC produces a "cleaner" output than the antiquated VPC does, so it's preferred to run the VPC output through the SAFC before the TCCS.
