balancer noise isn't a pinging really, it sounds more like a tapping... like metal on metal, and not hollow... I had mine retorqued and the problem went away, at the time didnt know that it could take out my crank, but as soon as I heard the noise I looked for the culprit... torqued it down and...

fixed! checked out the tail lights (man, toyota made it easy lol access panels and everything!).... both bulbs blown apart... hmm... anyways, swaped em out good as new.. now I wonder if they will blow again...

I did the same, well to my fronts, I am going to remove my rear wiper and antenna and have the body filled in when I get my car painted... anyways... my wiper arms work with the standard clip on wipers.. maybe they are aftermarket wiper arms?

after a little reading it looks like the tail light fuse would take out the rest of my acc lights... so could it just be the bulb is burnt out? it's only one of my tail lights, both turn signals work, and so do my back-up lights...

ya only reason I ever went to this shop in the first place was because the previous owner of my car had the motor rebuilt there 8 years ago.. all the police cars get their service work done there aswell, so that gave me some confidence. They are a performance oriented shop that has been around...
