i dont know much about building high horse power engines but i heard the gte has an ultra accesivly low 8.5: 1 maybe up it a little to 9:1. sorry im not much help just saw your thread was lonley
i had a similar problem i filled the spark plug valley with water i had to take the coils out and the 3000 pipe off and use a sponge to dry it the pest i could i then replaced the plugs and ran some dry gas as a precaution and ti worked for me

i borke the little needle off the end of mine an dbought a repair kit but i couldnt pull the core out of my cable so i bought a used cable off of someone on here for 15 bux shipped out of so very many of hte parts cars now being sold on the f/s forum and it was fixed
isee no reason why you shouldnt be fine with the clutch with that setup surely you wound be making 300 + and thie stage three is made to handle alot more than that i tihnk its near the 380 range
