i guy around here did this why would you ever is there any possitives to the single cam head swap at all or is he full of shit his reasoning is that the 7m head is weaker under boost but i find it harder to believe also he plans to make 500 hp and over 30 psi of boost is this kid just ful...

the isc had two sealed bearings inside ti letting it turn if its not turning that is yoru r problem also check the contacts for corotion iscs are expencive new so hope you can find a used one a new one is around 280 i think
also if you ran it for a while with a bhg you may have burnt your rings like i did (mine was blown when i bought it ) 140 is a bit low it may be the cause for smoke i tihnk its supposed to be 160 - 165 but im not posative can someone give good comp numbers please
honestly i would try to build an 11 second car with out a full engine build if its an old engine with miles on the the head gasket s got to be about shot and the rings arent probly gonna hold up to say 425 hp to do the 11s you want to
get a mig welder andsome steel sticks tack it on to the dents and try to pull hte dents once the dents are pulled out as best you can use light pressure pulling them out and have someone with a light hammer tap in a circle aroudn the crown of the dent ( outer circle edge) the take a disc cutter...
im in the process of making my own 16g twin turbo set up but im looking to build a strocker block to give the quick spool up i think it will work out nicely
i have an xtd stage three clutch thats rated at 395 lbs torque its nice for street use as well and its got crazy grip id recomend it if you are gonna be gulding anyways you might as well upgrade it woudl be a pain to find out the hard way
i have hankook k106s they are semi cheap and wear really nice they have very nice straight line traction and you can feel the front end pull into the turns as well im happey wiht em ive got 235 55 in back and 225 60 in front
i have one fail due to the gasket wearign and lettin gwatter into the bearings and locking them up making for an extremely eratice idle a pulseing from 500 to 3000 rpms every second or two mine did fail so i wouldt rule it out but to who stared the post i did tear mine apart and cleaned it...
dont you think its a bit fishy about the fact that thousands of 7m ve occoured even to ppl to maintain there cars liek they should and run them conservatively. its just and engine that is prone to the bhg just face it no reason to blame every one whos had a bhg on a 7m for poor maintinance
first of nice to meet a fellow pa owner secondy i dunno why you d get a hp boost but i do know that runnign straight pipes will cause a little crakle in the exhaust liek small backfires ime does and im runnign a ddp test pipe and hks drager umm but it dosent sound like anything serious is wrong...
if you think your engine is not firing youd be able to tell when you drive it or even at idle it woudl run like shit what i do tho in this case is remove one spark plug wire at a time from the col packs and see it idle changes if not replace and try another one th8is of corse will only tell...
