    I would also like to try doing the crystal mod. Has anyone compared the electronics in the 87-88 ECU's with the 89-92 ECU's? Just wondering what different components are causing the early ECU's to hit the rev limiter later.

    The pedal effort is not bad, and its held the power. So I can't complain too much. Its just not as smooth as some other clutches.

    I'm using the ACT pressure plate with my Bronse. Zazzn, thats interesting that the full face would not hold the power. I'm surprised.. I guess the Feramic puck style is the way to go.

    I have the Bronse and it will probably hold anything you will throw at it. But as far as being street friendly, I wouild have to give it a C. Even after all the break-in procedures, its still a harsh and somewhat chattery clutch. The Feramic full face should be much smoother$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

    1.15 turbine A/R. I guess since its a T3, it won't spool as bad as if it was a T4 with a 1.15 A/R. Still, it looks like it will be laggy without much top-end power. I just don't understand why no one listen's.. The turbo and its sizing are going to effect More Than Anything how your engine...

    Does anyone know what Toyota did to the ECU in the 89-92 supras to make them hit the rev limit earlier??

    With an upgraded CT-26 and about 20psi of boost, high 12 second 1/4 mile times shouldn't be a problem. With drag radials and an aftermarket clutch, you could probably do low 12's.

    Good choice Suprastic.. Ive owned and driven many cars, and the MK3 supra has so much more character. Now take your time modding, and don't get over your head with too many expensive speed mods. Good luck..

    Good luck on your decision. I actually chose an MK3 because I hated the looks of the MK4 so much. Not to mention that the MK4 is (and was) selling for about $12,000 dollars more than what they're worth IMO.
