Hey guys, as most of you know i bought a running mk3 for $200 that HAD a BHG and still has a cracked windshield, but now im in the middle of the restore process, here are some pics that i have of it.....
btw the voltmeter shows 14+ volts if i charge the battery for a week and put it back in, but after a while the voltmeter shows 12 even with the engine running, after a day or so...
more pics will be up later, actually Dr Chill, that wasnt a bad BHG, that showed how old the oem gasket was lol, it basically ripped into pieces when i try to scape it off...
well my friend replaced a few parts on his 85 p-type and it felt better, he had the same prob u have he just got a new TPS (throttle position sensor) and check the tranny cable thing, the one cable that connects to the throttle linkages
So I started workin on my 88 supra, got new parts online and from the junkyard heheh, well i tore the head apart and replaced the old leaky head gasket and all the other stuff that is included in the gasket set, I also buffed the pass. side and the hood/front panel....

Does anybody know a place where i can get my valve covers restored to OEM? i mean i can do it myself but i want to maintain the same light gold-ish color with the black/red letters and stripes on it, please let me know if you know a place so i can get mine restored while im working on the head...
well if all goes well im planning to do a turbo and redo my whole brake/suspension system, as well as gettin new rims, tint, strut bar, 5-speed swap, and get a leather interior...
