I work on RV's. One day I get dispatched a towed in unit, customer complaint: "engine cranks no start, leaking red fluid at front engine area." Well I quickly realized that the red fluid was blood, and the no start was due to cat in fan belt. :barf:
That was the nastiest thing I have seen...
Good point. I live in Tucson so they are much less stringent than they are up in "Area A" (Phoenix Area). I have never had a problem passing emissions without it, because they dont test for Nox. In Phoenix I am sure they do.
And as for the detonation issue, It is perfectly reasonable to...
I had my EGR blocked off for three years. Between running a HKS F-CON, An E-Manage, and now the MAFT-Pro, never had any detonation at part throttle or anything bad to speak of.
I pulled my motor and tore it down for a build this year at 115K miles and the engine is perfect inside.
Yes I...
Sorry I cant be of much assistance but i will bump this cause I would like to know the answer too. I had the exact same problem of the bolts that hold the tail lights in just spinning as well.
I watched it. That show looks to be very entertaining.
For me, it seems like it happened in a different time. But it really wasn't that long ago. Its hard to really fathom the extent that people can be brainwashed to. Like they said, it wasn't just hitler or his people that were turned...
You wont be able to adjust the idle A/F ratio without a standalone. When in closed loop, the ECU will always compensate for any airflow calculations using the O2 sensor as input.
What I do is adjust my fuel pressure to get a Vf of 2.5 at idle. Then adjust your mainscale so that your vf...
The GM ones seals don't hold up well to oil vapor from what I have heard. Here is the one I am going to use. Its the smog pump out of a 1998 VW Jetta. I have read that the seals hold up much better to oil.
This bad boy sucks some major air volume. It will pull about 7 inches of vac...
After I read this thread I went and dug my filter out of the trash that I just threw away today. This is the original ND filter with 107K miles on it. I dyno'ed at 336WHP a few years ago with my 57 trim with this filter and then switched to a T04b and even then never had any fuel flow issues...
Good to hear you got it up and running. The 12V fuel pump mod is a pretty common modification around here and pretty easy to do. I actually have a relay powering my fuel pump with heavier gauge wiring to supply the most amperage possible. The stock fuel pump power wire now signals the relay...
Holy mother of sweet baby Jesus. :aigo::aigo::aigo::aigo:
I cant believe it tore off the starter and broke the bell housing! Thats the worst I have ever seen
Well a fusible link is just a special section of wire that is mean to burn up when there is a short circuit to protect the rest of the wiring. It has a fire resistant insulation so that when the wires inside burn up, the insulation stays intact. One good way to check fusible links is to pull...
