    Only to remember to unhook the two harness that lead to the tranny. I just "cut" them and reconnect them when it is time for install. I have removed 6+ 7m's this way. I have never unhooked the tranny to remove the engine, I just think it is easer to take the two out together. You will also...

    :naughty: I removed the bolt wile my 7M was on the stand. It took a little "american ingenuity" but I got it off with a 1/2" breaker bar, 5' pipe, and the GF to hold things in place so the whole thing didnt fall over:biglaugh:.

    Well not too much to update, but let&#8217;s see what has all done lately. I finial found a gauge cluster from a 89 (missing the tach) so I swapped in the missing gauges into the cluster. Since I had it apart I bought a volt gauge from a N/A for $12 shipped of eBay so that also got that...

    Yes that hose is a pain to replace. Also make sure the heat shield for that small hose is in place or else the heat from the exhaust manifold will destroy it. Lots of good info on this thread, I think I even learned a few things.

    Silver/light gray thread could be used for the chrome. Size? What ever size would look good on a head rest. I am guessing some where around 4" wide or so. The hard part I am guessing is the the 6 different colors that would be used.
