MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Hey Bob, any news with the ecu I sent over last Monday for the hac modification yet? I though you said these would have a quick turnaround but I haven't heard of you since.

Hey malloynx any progress with the maft pro? Hope it's going smoother than how it started...

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Only problem is that a phone call from Greece to the u.s. in order to fill out my order would not be my most cost effective option :icon_conf . I'll check and see if there's any way I could put the order on their site.

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Hey malloynx did you have to register as a commercial company or something with Full Throttle Response in order to put your order? I tried to put mine the other day and there was no checkout option unless I was a comercial company registerd with FTR... :aigo:

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Do I understand right, but does that mean that the utilization of the map sensor will only be enabled after the timing control function will be added/activated? Cause up until now I thought that map sensor function would be on regardless of the other additional functions.

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Michael I'm a bit confused. You said, as other people I asked about it, that the auto ECU will work fine with my manual car. But before that you mention that due to the different number of pins you shelved the idea (language barrier here) which I understand as: you avoided doing so. If I...

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

You'd have to bring along the MaftPro as a present and any other goodies you do that are applicable to the 7mgte for that :biggrinbo I think it's better off finding a 7mgte ecu from a forum member here and have it sent to you rather that sending you my unit all the way from Greece. I'm just...

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

So Bob I gather that you'll need to get hold of my ECU in order to modify it accordingly. So what kind of discount do I get for having it sent all the way back to Greece? :biglaugh: Only joking, so should I have a 7mgte sent to you in order to do the hac mod then?

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Hey boost fiend can you elaborate on your thought please? I'm a sucker for power sliding, would the map sensor spoil that in any way?

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Hey Bob, is that a freshly added new feature? I didn't know it would control boost too. Or is it some kind of a software upgrade? Any news about an official production/availability date yet?

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

I spoke with Bob, the Full Throttle Speed electronics wizard and he sounded very promising. This indeed is going to be a great tool. Obviously not as potent as a standalone but surely the next best and cheaper thing to it. I just have to wait for your impressions malloynx :naughty:

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

So with the MafT Pro capabilities, assuming that it would be fully compatible with the 7mgte, a standalone's need is minimized. Right? I mean I know that you can do and control heap loads with an AEM for instance but with the MafT Pro you eliminate most if not all limitations and can tune with...

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Malloynx what else do you need for it? Is it just a map sensor and an air temp sensor with their harnesses or do you need anything else? I've checked the fullthrottlespeed support forum and apart from your question answered there, nothing else is exactly stated if there is data supporting the...

MAF Translator Pro - what do you think

Has anyone seen this http://www.maftpro.com/info.shtml ? GrimJack especially that has the most experience with the maft. Would you think that'll work on the 7mgte? If yes then it's quite promising cause from what I read this could handle quite some air/fuel tuning as it provides enough...

    Turbo Maps question

Well I've been trying to figure out turbo maps from the Garrett site with not much success to be honest. I'm trying to figure out what turbos to use for my twins setup on my 7mgte. I'm after low to mid range power/torque. Ideally I'd like to utilize the 2-2500rpm to 5500rpm band. My goals as...
