Cool thanks Indigo and Dan. Im planning on running a 60-1 turbo or similar in the near future with a forged 7M that i'm building, so even if it doesn't do much now, I guess its a good investment :)

Im looking at getting the new DM intercooler kit which has the inlet and outlets on the same side. Which seems a lot nicer than the older kit.

Maybe there's air in the cooling system? Have you had a chance to burp it.
I installed a larger aluminium radiator recently as well and i was thinking that maybe its overflowing a little more due to the increased water capacity.
I could be completely wrong though :)
I just did this hose not long ago. With the right sized needle nosed pliers you can get in there to remove the spring clamp. Then use screw clamps with the new hose. You don't have to tilt the motor, unless your hands are massive :p
I second this. Otherwise, mine sounded similar when I hollowed my cat without putting a straight pipe through it. Since I installed the straight pipe the engine note came back.
Yeah I've already got a recirculating downpipe, and it pulled a hell of a lot stronger then stock but I was curious as to whether or not a complete divorced setup was any better, probably not that much hey....
