Has any one successfully soldered onto the OEM plastic film behind the cluster? I recently swapped on gauges and they interfere with certain functions that I would like to retain. So either I completely rewire it all or I bridge the broken connections. Any input.

I can and have drove with just the fogs. They are better then stock headlights which are brand new and properly aimed.

That is really nice. I thought about using a second set of es300 fogs as headlights but haven't experimented.

Are these water tight? Are you going to find a way to protect the lenses from debris?

Gonna give this a go If that doesn't work. I will slather a bunch of grease in the recess and buzz off the damaged threads. Then shopvac out contaminated grease. Thanks IJ

Good idear, I was thinking of getting a 22mm nut and attempt to straighten the threads.

Um Nut is out by .5mm maybe leas

I just need to chase top two threads maybe out by a few 100ths of a mm

Really they want 80 just to separate every thing then tack on an abs hub? How much is the tool?

My hub got damaged and I need to rethread the threads. I need a die so what if the pitch and spacing any one know,

Oh yeah I trimmed off 30mm last year and had it spun to make sure it was balanced.
