Some MKIV guys sent me an invitation to a supra meet in Charlotte next month. There's a Sticky thread on supraforums. My car is out of the body shop and I'm starting to put the pieces back togather. I think I have enough time to build my engine. For the guys who met me few weeks ago, I had a...

Hello LST, I got your message. I have asked Jeff to source a 1JZ guy if he can. I know just enough about 1JZ wiring to cause a fire in your enginebay :icon_surp . There are few guys running 1JZ supras in NC. I know Jeff has a 1J in his shop. He will post here shortly

Allright boys and supragirl. Here's the skinny on the flywheels.
Picture below you will find a Real KA Flywheel from a 95 S14 on the right, and a 7M flywheel on the left. They are not the same. they look similar but the KA flywheel will never mount to a 7M crank b/c the center bore is too...
I'm going to confirm this in a day or 2. I have a Spare KA sitting at a friend's storage that I swapped in a 95 S14. still has the flywheel on it. gonna take that guy off and see what the deal is.
I got a Flywheel from a Junkyard which is suppose to be for a 7M and on the back of the flywheel it says S14 KA. but I'll be damn, it bolts right on to the 7M. Anyone know this to be True? or is it the junkyard marking it wrong?
Thank God for DA Sanders :biglaugh: Need to widen the fenders just a little bit so the wheels can fit. I already did the baseball bat job on the front left, Need to clean it up a bit with fibreglass. Still got some ways to go removing the glass and rear lights/moldings/spoiler and both...
I've watched all sorts of racing and been to diffrent races.
IRL makes for good races, but those cars can't turn like a F1 car can.
Nascar is good at Daytona and talladega. Bristol is pretty good. Watkins Glen and Sears Point are not for Stock cars.
my Pick is WRC. Loab is just...
The HG on this engine was bust in 2 spots. but not at the water jackets. it was broken in the combustion area where the thin wall of the bores meet. right in the middle b/w 2 pistons. b/w 3-4 and 5-6 I think you can tell by looking at some of the pictures.
12 years ago I worked at Jiffy Lube part time as I went to school. The first store I worked in, all the guys there were a little older and knew what they were doing under the hood. Then I moved to another city and started working at another Jiffy lube. This new place had a lot of young kids...
