I reused my 3 center holes. but the outside holes on the hatch do not line up or get hidden by the 89+, so; weld/fill/block sand...

removed the largish dent that was left by the rear wiper motor in the hatch, shaved off welded shut, hammer, filler, guide coat, block sanded started blocking the 92 quarter panel on the 87

could always flatten the last thread with a punch and hammer, then it won't budge...
