compare plugs, I believe they are different P/N's... might have been lock cylinders memory all GTV'd out right now you could likely remove - repin... make sure the plastic T is in good shape, only the key tip engauges that... as for 1/2 years -- there have been lots, 2001.5 passat...

pretty sure it is a late 95 part, like july- I went with an ABS unit... it has 17/16th stamped into it

had that issue with removal in 1987 canadian model.... the internal nuts just tore the 2 tiny welds loose.... that subframe dosen't look delapedated, it could likely be repaired...

goes into nuetral? rear wheels still turn? did you try to rotate the motor both directions check the oil for deposits?

^will a 15" fit over the brakes?

you really should mask off that glass, for grinding or welding.... I like to use tinfoil from time to time since paper burns so nicely.. because those hot metal chunks will melt into your glass forever....

okay, so I took some photos this weekend; notice anything unusual? have new plastic cover, and boost gauge waiting... trimmed grill, still needs final sand/re-finish trimmed for AC line -- could use another couple mm's from inside the drivers wheels well sans grill

yeah, there is metal inside there.... how was it stored during paint process? or is it rust causing that...
