taken care of 7mgte (turbo engine) + MHG + Basic maintenence = bullet proof engine You will NOT be sisappointed in anything with a turbo car, as long as you buy one that hasn't been beat on or hasnt been maintained. Do the mods in my sig (not expensive) and you will be hooked for life!

valve guide seals, turbo seals, a lot of oil in your pcv system, faulty piston rings, valve seals... as you can see it can be a lot of things, cant really tell just from describing it

Yes you will fail, that is why usdm comes with egr valve. And to answer your other question.... even if you rebuild with oem pistons it will hold that power easy. As long as you know what you are doing, if not take it to a shop.
