hey everyone im not sure what it is i bought the car not running and i took it for a drive after i got it running and the speedo doesnt work. the gauge isnt the one the car was originally with, i have a automatic but the gauge cluster is for a manual. could this be the problem or would it not...

lol atleast you had the plug. i bought my car with out it and they were jumping wires across with like 3 different pieces of wire, i just wired it straight to it.
my wires werent matching when i bought the car and the plug was gone i got a diagram from a tech and matched them to the coilpack myself..but i think its the tan ones i know the orange and black is the hot one and the rest im sure are grounds. i dunno im still new to supras.

if you are talking about the coil pack to the igniter then i think i can help. i had to re wire mine after the previous owner i bought it from hacked them up and didnt even bother to connect them. but here i think this could help, sorry colors dont match coming off coilpack but the igniter does...
yeah i wasnt even thinking about disconnecting the battery til i touched the alt with the ratchet. and the 100 amp alt fues is blown but its hard to get out, any tips on how to remove it? thanks for the help.
