I have some generic dipstick for my car, with no writing :(
So what's the difference between the both besides being able to read? Such as, it's easier to get it around an aftermarket exhaust manifold/turbo setup or...?
Cool man, you're pretty close to me since I'm actually up in Clairemont but find myself down south for various reasons. My car is in the garage for now but I'm up for a coastal cruise once she's up and running.

I was at Toyo Lex near San Ysidro a few months back when they had about 4 mk3s in their lot. They even had a near perfect 87 baby blue gte auto that just got thrown in the lot, still had the rear shade too... couldn't afford to take the whole thing, but I did settle for a mint fan shroud. :naughty:
Whoa, that's badass.
While we're at the topic of Supra stuff, is there any chance of getting Supra stuff in stencils? I'm not very 'stencil-edumacated' ...
Whoa now, don't just abandon the car because you're frustrated with it. Mine's been hanging out in the garage for over a year and I'm still determined to make it move. I ran short of cash at times, but I just covered the project up and waited for more money to come in(thank you stimulus...
Hmm, I'm running afpr/walbro 255/maft pro like you are but I've also got 680cc injectors... I'm thinking IMO my next step up would be upped fuel pressure, then dual pumps.
Hey now, that happened to Ed.D's car. 2JZ+R154, moving up the 805 freeway on a ramp, shifts to 3rd and *crunch* the shifter got stuck in the progression to 3rd. Boost was at... 14lbs? I still have it in the garage, just haven't had the time to dissect it for pics and have everyone drill me on...
Holy crap, I hadn't even watched the episode and I laughed my ass off.
Now I have to change the ringtone on my phone since that's what I set it to a while back...
I forget who I bought mine from, it was either 935, DM or HPF... in any case:
The j-tube bypass will be needed. The restriction is too small to support the flow of an aftermarket fuel pump(or MKIV TT, etc.) Shaeff has the writeup here.
I had the 12v done while it was open, so... yeah.
Sustaining 120+mph isn't the brightest thing to do, but in California I can imagine cars getting crushed and licenses being revoked for years on end so... it doesn't seem that bad to me, at least.
Sorry to hear about what happened with the CHP. A buddy of mine is currently working through something of the same situation.
Awesome pictures though, thanks for sharing em. :bigthumb:
