Damn, here we go again, try searching for SS autochrome just about anywhere. The topic has been discussed over and over. I have seen the pictures about said turbo that split apart but i didn't see any resin. In short, you somewhat get what you pay for. Even if the turbo keeps going strong...

If you have them, just put them on and see if they rub. Turn the wheel to full lock BOTH SIDES and check for clearance. Do mind the the variable height of the car though ;)

Indeed i thought those were to pull them off. Ofcourse rust is going to hinder that in due time but ok, the anti squeal plates have some sort of dampening coat to take away any leftover vibrations.

Ive always wondered, how does a <1mm piece of metal prevent squealing ? I know it helps sometimes but how ?
