Unless the stock turbo's had a sequential problem from the start, there should be NO HP gain from sequential to TTC. The RX7 guys do it all the time aka non-sequential mod. I had a fully running sequential system. I went to non-sequential. It wasn't BAD...it just put the power in a different...
Picture 2 is a sandwich plate for oil temp/oil pressure gauge. The top port is already blocked off and is used for oil pressure. The bottom port (open) is a 1/8 NPT. Get a 1/8 NPT plug and some thread tape and your done. Maybe $3 in parts.
ha. Told you that they weren't "laggy". Now to get cams. The twin turbo setup really likes cams. Get some 550cc's to get to the 500 HP club.
Now there are two of us with this same kit.
With the stock 1JZ oil cooler my oil temps (running RP) get to 120 C far too fast for my liking. My old 1JZ had an oil cooler and stayed rock solid at 110C even on hard driving.
My car is primary for road course though. Very little daily driving now (Beamer gets better gas mileage).
I live in europe. Lots of cars imported from Germany do NOT have A/C in them. Not required when it never gets hot enough to need it. Probably similar to the cold of Canada vs. the Heat of Florida. Here in Italy...you need A/C. I wouldn't dare remove my A/C from my A70. But...if I lived...
I like ric...haha. But my stock twins made 17 psi by 3000 rpms. It's nowhere near near as fast as my twin k26 kit, but th power hit hard fast and then died off fast too haha.
