Parts (both new and used) were always cheaper (in Japan anyways) for the 1JZ/2JZ regardless of what it was, whether it was a turbo kit, suspension, brakes. Only thing that costs the same between the two were rims and universal electronics i.e. boost controllers. But what do I know...I only...
Because both 1JZ and 2JZ require less money to make more HP than the money pit RB26. After watching all my GTR friends throw away their paychecks....just to get beat ...I wouldn't mess with anything that has the RB26 in it unless I'm a "RB26 enthusiast".
650cc will be sufficient for your 500 hp goal. delphi (IIRC) is what the TTC rail is designed for. NOT ALL TOP FEED INJECTORS ARE DESIGNED THE SAME. You MUST get the proper sized top feed injector for your fuel rail (unless you have a bazillion different sizes of o-rings)
That's pretty odd considering when I replaced my TB on my old car, it came from a soarer and it did NOT have TRC.
They are all interchangeable, but why would you even want to use it?
