after reading your post again, i'm curious about what kind of movement you are talking about. how does it move in relation to the car? i.e., clockwise, in/out, or all of the above?
the best way to check is to get that wheel in the air, and try to wobble the wheel from side to side (with your palms on opposite sides of the tire), and up and down to feel for play in the suspension. If the wheel moves around when trying to wobble, get somebody to peek behind the tire when...
thats a weird window switch problem, i've only seen one side working and then not the other. like theWeezL said, don't forget the dielectric grease when you put it back together.
as far as the turn signal, is it making the clicking sound and work correctly but the light in the cluster doesn't...
some parts are interchangeable, some are not. Cam gears are interchangeable. 2jz cams can be machined to fit the 1jz head (http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55085).
Check this thread for all the interchangeable parts...
+1, if your gonna do it, I would spend the extra $$ on the r154 over the w58 for that little bit extra peace of mind.

that doesn't sound very promising...did the old owner simply cut a hole in the hardtop, and put nothing in its place? You may be better off having a metal fabricator patch up the hole and keep it hardtop.
and the other person can make sure your not doing any damage to that one connector you forgot to unplug, or the A/C line you are about to crush :icon_wink

dude that sucks about the BHG, but you know you don't want to get rid of a clean '92...
do you need it for a DD, or could you put it in the garage and save up for a 1JZ swap?? if you can't wait, I would just do the HG job again, re-torque, and still save up for a swap :naughty:
