Jeff, I may be coming up to Indy some AM next week to check out St Francis, so I may be able to get the AFM to you soon.
*edit*
If you want to check on it... just click HERE
lol... The visual helps a friggin ton... I was trying to add rubber all up in the middle... I couldn't get it to mock up for anything. Stretching that hose over 2 1/4 is a BEOTCH, btw.
Steve, your lower IC pipe fix is teh suck. lol
I can't get that mofo to come remotely close to lining up. Guess I'm gonna have to wait for Jason to come over to fix this piece...
Like ARP bolts? HPFreaks?
As for cleaning it out... pull it all apart and get it hot tanked. :icon_bigg You're already down THAT far, why not just rebuild it for another $200-500 and be done w/ it for a few years? Thats just me though, I like to go a bit overkill on things like that.
I think you're not telling us something so we'll tell you what you want to hear. Thate ngine didn't turn over 10,000+ times and let the crank come out unscathed...
None of this?
^ Maybe both heads I did the studs on weren't finished getting cut then, because I could not get the nuts on either without lifting the head off the block.
It's be the crank and the bearings needed for it to fit stock rods. I find it hard to believe that a crank would be good after having RK... What is the history on the engine?
You could get that one cut and get oversized bearings... but it may be cheaper to go to AdvanceAuto and get a crank kit for like $250, but I'm not sure on the exact price for either...
$298.88 for the crank kit from Advance, Maybe a machine shop could do it cheaper. Just something to think...
^ Uhhh... lets get some history on that engine... people don't just forget to put a bearing in and then sell a car... If that engine has been run for any amount of time with a knock, that crank is not fine. You can put a new bearing in there, but it's not going to last very long and you'll...
The bearing spun, it got a knock and they kept driving it. Get a new crank or a JDM engine. That crank and that rod are toast... Was there a bunch of shavings on the oil pump pick-up tube? Bunch of crapp in the oil pan?
That took me about 5 mins to figure out what it meant... damn I'm...
The big 19mm nut on the bottom of the mount. :icon_bigg Just one on each side and you're done, rather than fighting to get all 8 of the other bolts lined up when you go to put it back in. I guess either way would be easy w/ the head off though.
