For those thinking about removing powersteering...

Is it a lot harder than driving with PPS disconnected?

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

IMO exterior doesn't flow anymore... But maybe it looks better IRL... Though the work itself is stunning.

    Parking Brake Cable Replacement

IIRC the cable runs directly over the driveshaft...and IIRC there's almost no room in there? :)

    dash removing time

^20 minutes for the whole process (full packaged car->no dash). Don't believe you ;) Or if you throw the bolts and screws around...maybe actually....

    dash removing time

Depends on the wire mess someone may have made in the past. If it's stock, then that's absolutely no pain! But for the first time, I'd say you probably remove it in two-three hours? And figgie...well, it is 8 bolts for the dash, but it's more for the other parts that you must remove that are...

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

What I'm tuned to of course :D Who cares about the SPL...I don't want to blow off my trunk window trying to measure SPL ;) (it is done in a closed car? Or no?)

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

Hmm...then I think I must visit a place where someone has the equipment to test this stuff...and see what I'm actually running then.

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

We call them condensers (word from the dictionary) :). But yeah, capacitors in your language then :D Well, I don't know the exact Hz's, bu I took the numbers from the manual. I chose from the 3 vented options the middle one, ''Street Bass'' :D 4,5cu.ft + 3x16,25'' 14,75'' long port. That makes...

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

Promised some pics. But I lied about the targa, till the last second I though we could make it, but our last decision was to put the condensers like this, cause there's no room :(. We'll see what happens with the targa. What you don't see now, is spare tire well that's used aswell. I'll make...

What is this violent jerking in driveline?

    Mounting Subs in supra's trunk

You can see my sub mounting in a day I hope (if I remember to take the camera with me....usually I forget.). But I can say, that it'll be heavy, really heavy. PROBABLY targa option will be left intact. Buuut...why you need an extra battery? 400rms isn't much....?
