Car/Cool Nerd Guy, still got along with most ppl and the person most people came to for help with stuff.
Lol chemistry was lots of fun, pouring ethanol on the fire proof benches and lighting it up was always good.
You talking about the Rigoli R32 GTST, this car turned up to a dyno day I was at with Toymods in Australia about a year ago, I've never seen a car lay 2 black lines down a road yet still move as fast at the same time.
Was running consitent mid 9's at the time. Even better was how approachable...
164mph is possible with a 3.9:1 rear end and a W58. (limiter at 7000rpm), stock 7mge limiter is 6900rpm or mine was when I had a stock ecu.:icon_bigg
So 160mph isn't out of the question assuming a very long down hill road
yep, I saw the cruise drive past twice, it was tempting to jump in the car and give chase but was having a great day talking shit at the dyno day. Plus its very cold to drive my car with the windows down to escape the petty fumes:nono:
I mentioned it in the post you commented on the low weight and clearly the vid if you watched it which I doubt is of a MK2:icon_conf .
I completely agree with you that for street use and for 99% of NA owners on here that a 3 inch exhaust on an NA car is just silly. Comparing my 7mge to 99% of...
You read the MA61 bit ie MK2 didn't you:doublebir Thats full weight, spare tyre rear seats and full tank of fuel in, car had sound deadening removed though but had a gravel rust proofing sprayed inside afterwards anyway.
As for a HKS exhaust, a I couldn't be fucked handing over the cash for...
Err the stock exhuast on an MA61 is 2 1/4 inch Nick saying a 2.5inch is too big is rediculous.
We are talking about a car running 10.7:1 comp, heavily ported head, twin throttle bodies, balanced bottom end etc etc.
2 1/4 inch is a perfect size exhaust for a built 4age sprinter/corolla not a...
Yes but I wasn't going from a stock muffler now was I, a standardish 7mge on the day made 100.7rwkw (had extractors and 2.5inch cat back on an auto cressida). Not to mention the largest gains in a system specifically on an NA car are in the extractors and they remained the same because well you...
The car has repeatedly run the old figures of between 108rwkw and 113.5 rwkw(being the highest it made after the ecu install) with the old exhaust on various dynos at various intervals so its not a case of that, not to mention it pulls better towards the limiter then before pretty much anything...
^^^ Indeed I was worried about losing some bottom end but nope. I have scanned in the graph, its amazing how much the 3inch has fucked up my tune though. Leaner which is good but its all over the shop. Notice also that it was wound out to 180kmph on the dyno this time which suggests its holding...
Slightly more power across the board, will post both sheets and a quick vid later. Err the 3inch in farking loud though, like race car loud, fucked my tune massively too. So probably more power in the 3inch with some tuning:icon_bigg.
Old system was FGK Fujitsobo extractor into 2.5inch cat into...
