Well it never got over freezing today so after work I put 6mil black plastic up on the shop to try and keep some of the cold out now just need propane for the heater so I can wrench without freezing to deatg

I have always installed it in the correct order following the under drivers side visor but one drive after I crank it down it has a slight squeak. could this be p/o not putting it on correctly?

That Sounds like rod knock to me
And shimmering oil is metal shavings if by chance you don't have rod knock already you soon will if you leave that in there
I have to retighten my targa a few miles after I put it on and tighten it down then it's good and doesn't leak or squeak after that

Thanks :-p oh and when you install one of those at 130 am don't let the steel braid touch the 12v post on the top of your alternator it will spark against your shock mounting bolt throw you in a panic to unhook the neg terminal on the battery and leave you super confused as to why your fuel line...
Ooh I like that thought lol I just figured they would be more expensive (don't know why) I'll price them out thanks for the heads up
(edit) it's in my price excel sheet as being more expensive maybe I'm looking at the wrong ones)
