the stock CT-26 is only good till 12-13 psi before is starts running out of breath and becomes a hair dryer. so its limit is pretty low.
im running a stock pump/rail etc on hks 550's with 1 bar/10 psi and doesnt seem to have any major issues.
that being said i do believe that a stock pump...

well i know that the MK2 supra guys drop the 7mgtes into there cars alot, or use to, and that is a front sump car, same as the cressida.
also what will you be doing with your car? just a daily/weekend racer? if so you should have no prob at essentially stock power for oiling.
it varies by area. best is check locally and see. as lexan is essentially shatterproof, it can make it harder for EMS to remove you from car in a accident. same reason alot of the 4 point harnesses are not street legal in places. i know cause i got a no seat belt ticket for having my 4 point on...
bad gas, water in fuel, saw on the news recently that some of the gas stations gas tanks were being filled with diesel due to the re-filling guy not reading which tank is which. maybe you got a gas/diesel mix?
on my 82 i replaced a gernaded rod with a used one from a diff motor. used the rings and bearings from donor motor, never checked the crank, and even re-used the HG (which was a felpro) . ran like a champ for about 6 months till the timing belt snapped, then i just replaced the motor and sold it.
dragging a car on a deck is just a bad idea, something will end up bent/wrecked. fine if you just throwing the shell away, but if your gonna re-build it then you need to be a bit more carefull. you can, jack it up and use a block of wood to hold the car up when you put tires on it.
