Part Numbers needed for EGR valve and vacuum modulator from a 1990 Turbo/Manual needed asap. Does anyone know if an N/A is the same as the Turbo model.
I am the one who did the rewire for eighty-7t. I have done several of these with no problems at all. When I installed the wires, I pulled the EFI fuse to reset the ECU. The next day or so, he came back and I checked the wiring and his front ks which I thought felt a little loose when I...
Not sure why either but if you have an 87 ecu/harness in an 89 car there is your problem. You have to match the ECU/Harness to your frame year. The dash, interior (firewall harness) and engine bay harness are all year specific.
Yeah, I'd like to check out your relocation kit. Can you pm or post pics of it. Does it come with the lines also??? $50 - can't beat that with a stick !
Yeah, I think they are 5-way pioneers. My setup "sounds good" (on paper) but it doesn't "sound" so good (if you know what I mean). I do get a lot of distortion at the higher volumes. I am not so good at putting together an awesome sounding system. I bought an amp that is way overpowering...
I just wanted to know since I am planning on installing my engine this weekend and if my new mounts don't come in (fingers crossed) for whatever reason I will have to install on the old broken mounts and change them later.
Why, you wonder, don't I wait until they get here......because the wife...
How hard is it to change engine mounts while the engine is in the car???
Anybody ever done this??? I can't imagine it's any worse that changing out a turbo, or a starter, or a PS pump......
Here is my setup for now. I have a Pioneer CD-9437 and an Almani 800W Amp, 4" Pioneers in the front and Rears, 3-1/2" Boss in the rear seat sides and 6" x 9" Pioneers in the back. I still have my spare in but can't put anything on the trunk. Oh, and I can still fit my targa top in there as well.
I just got my Walbro 255 today and was wondering which one you guys are using. I got a GSS 341 which is what they sent me. In doing a search I found that some companies are specifying a GSS341 and GSS315 for 84-92 Supra Turbos. They both pump 255 l/hr but the 341 is high pressure and the 315 is...
I just bought a Walbro 255 fuel pump and was wondering if I could install it and run everything completely stock until I pass smog and then proceed with my upgrades (Lex AFM, 550's, AFPR, etc...). I just don't want to overload my stock regulator, hoses, etc... and throw off my AFM while trying...
I did the reverse swap for a guy last fall. He blew his turbo engine and had access to a cheap N/A. There was a couple of snags but nothing too major. Aside from changing the ignitor pack and the ecu, the only thing that comes to mind is the accelerator cable was different. If I think of...
Mine had loose rivets also. I took the assembly out and used a center punch to "gently" tighten up the rivets. Don't go too hard or you will punch the rivets through or break something.
