I just took a look at the sidewall. There Eagle F1 GS EMT. This is tire racks information on them. There HORRIBLE!
Those GS-D3's look nice but are wrong sizes.
Id really like to find first hand experience of someone using something that doesnt follow grooves in the size range of a 235/245.
Well the 245's grip pretty good and the 235 only looses about 1/4 inch tread. Should be a perfect fit on an 8 inch wheel, no? 245/40's are slightly shorter and 245/45's i have are too tall and rub on bumps. The 235's are right in the middle height wise.
I'm not really looking for ultimate...
Hey guys. I need some help deciding what tires to get for the front of my car.
I'm going to be getting a pair of RPF1's 17x8 with 35mm offset. I'm looking to run a 235/45 but can't decide what tire to get.
I have 245/45 Goodyear Eagle F1 Corvette front tires on there now on cobra replica...
Thanks, its got two mufflers. First one is under the car. Summit Racing brand glasspack 4 inch in and out. Second is a magnaflow 4 inch in and out. Still a little too noisy. I want to look into making a branch resonator or something to kill the 2krpm drone.
Update: Trans Broke before the end of last year, Lost third gear and reverse. Tore it down and found what was left of clutches and steels in the third gear pack. Everything else looked decent. Good run for 6 months.
Rebuilt it with the IPT Blue Friction kit and it feels good, little better then...
To anyone using a Stinger or EMS 8860, LS2 coils have been found to not work correctly.
The stinger and 8860 EMS's ramp up dwell on startup very high. Since the LS2 coils have built in ignitors they get a little retarted with the increased dwell and will fire inconsistantly or eraticly.

.15MM or .006 inch is the middle of the range, If you have more then 1/8 inch thats more then should be and could explain broken parts from excessive windup and shock.
That would be my guess. You could also try grease fitting-less joints. There not hollow.
Did you have someone crank the engine while you check timing with a timing light? It would tell you whether the timing is advanced or retarded and if you need to advance a tooth or retard a tooth on the cam gear.
Dont forget to jumper diagnostic block when checking timing.
Maybe this well...
