well congrats on getting it running, but everything you mentioned about the way its running is NOT normal. i'd talk to your tuner and tell him you'll come back and he can finish it with no charge

i know my 1J swap was originally auto then the japanese dude swapped to a 5 speed, had the Auto ECu so im positive it had the auto harness as well. worked perfectly

550's would be the highest i'd go with an AFC
i'll be running 440's on an Aristo ECU which is tuned for 440's but is mapped for a 3L and i'm on the 2.5L. we will see what happens.
But on a 1J ecu and AFC i wouldn't go any higher than 550's and 550's even make me uncomfortable
Once its all put together and running i will push it higher than 14 psi.
i was running 14 psi on the stock 370's. it was hitting boost cut but was still pig rich.
60-1 wont put out A LOT of power. i expect 400whp on 18psi. which will be fine on 440's. my body connectors i need to finish...
i know theres the T'netics one that is black and the inlet looks like sharks teeth all the way around. i was THINKING about getting it coated, but then i think there'd be tooooo much black in my bay
believe it or not but i haven't had a problem with water getting in it.
ofcourse i've only driven in rain once or twice. and even then the bov only opens between shifts. closed while driving
As many of you know i fried out 2 ECU's on my 1J. I'm over the 1J ECU's and have decided to go with an Aristo ECU and Aristo Harness. I got 440cc Injectors while i was at it and a New TiAL 38mm WG as well.
While i had the car apart for pulling the harness and removing the injectors i decided...
I Decided that i am going to Combine my multiple build threads and keep this one going only. which is why im bringing it back from the dead.
Well this past weekend Tissimo and i installed the single on my 1J
