yea i got my sender from csnow. i helped him yank the 7M and i got a few parts off it i needed.
still need to install the adapter and sender. adapter is sitting on my coffee table right now lol
Tissimo and i have always made our own piping. always sounds good too.
150-200 bucks for full turbo back is ALOT better than 650+ for just a gay cat-back
also for the Serpentine belt the Duralast# 770K6 belt at Auto Zone works on the 1J with A/C, P/S and Hydrofan perfectly.
just tell em you need a serp belt for a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutless Ciera 2.5L with A/C.
just thought i'd add that
hahahahahaha
well then i guess i would start by draining the oil and checking to make sure the oil pump is installed correctly :dunno:
or the sender to the gauge is plugged in properly
good luck
i would check your oil level, or maybe the connector for the oil pressure is disconnected or soemthing? try what 93kyumaru said.
EDIT:: 1700 post!! (i need a life :nono:)
thats great to here man. another supra owner happy from the help he got. we're on a roll!
go to advance if you have one near you. they ALWAYS have 6097's in stock. atleast here in FL they do.
last time i went to get some they had over 40 in stock
definitely a faulty gauge/ dirty connector.
if you open the rad. cap and start the car and once its at OT you see water flowing thru the radiator then that means the tstat is working and if its flowing there's no way its overheating. definitely the sensor/wiring/or gauge
good luck
yea i was running 16 psi on my twins and had them gapped at .26
i was having the same retarded missfire before i tore my 1J down. i used heat shrink on the coils this weekend, and im swapping ecu's so once its running i wont be able to tell what caused it lol
check plugs.
if the plugs are replaced or fine and it still does it. get in there and check those coilpacks. if they are cracked they will cause that too. Use 1" heat shrink from Ace hardware. that stuff is AWESOME.
if the plugs are fine, and coils are...
got a little bit of progress done.
I used 1 inch heat shrink on the coil stems instead of nail polish. works excellent. got pics will post tomorrow.
also i have my oil pressure sender adapter from DM at home now and a 7M sender from CSNOW. so that will be getting put in this week, then...
wow
the paint was coming off from the scrubbing. Yea that 7M was nasty, but then again which one isn't.
Like father like son is the truth when it comes to your boy chris. we man handled that pig and got it out of there in no time. can't wait to see it painted.
^^^ ding ding ding. thats why im doing it. i had 2 ecu's fry out on me and im over that shit. even repaired one and it STILL didn't work. only thing is is that you lose the higher rev limiter. it will only be 6700 instead of 7200
