This guy knows what he's talking about (obviously). Automatics seem to be as thermally efficient as rotaries, if that. Think of an auto tranny similar to a manual tranny that is slipping all the time...on purpose.
The LET-T16 should be the "old school" HKS exhaust. Sometimes I've found people saying "there's only 6 or so in the U.S." which is simply not true, because we have more than that in stock :biglaugh:
I dont think Titan has a 4" kit, or if they do, it isnt on the webpage. Again, in the distant...
I feel like I've said this a ton of times before, but my plan is to clean out my stock oil cooler and use it for power steering, then just run a water-to-oil cooler for the engine. No fancy thermostats needed or nuthin!
Friend of mine bought quality spacers for his BMW, and around a year later, a few of them had some nasty damage. This guy takes meticulous care of his cars and there was no reason for them to go out on him; I cant imagine ebay ones would pay off much
Poked my head in for a few important bits
Words of wisdom here. MkIIIs and their owners cant be hated forever! Make the most of parts availability and ease of access while you can, as even MkII stuff is tough for me to get.
^ Also this. It's a labor of love; however frustrating it may be, it...
Dex VI is some amazing stuff. It's supposed to be backwards compatible, and I've helped my friend flush two of his cars with it. Because of how tough it is to get all of the old fluid out of the system, I did see a recommendation somewhere to drop the pan with every oil change and replace that...
Yeah not too much of us can help you out a whole lot here. I have no idea where to even get an HKS stroker kit. Do you know the part number for it? I cant imagine they made too many
I know it's cocky, but I dont think theres a car that sounds better than mine actually. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I fell in love with my Type S with stripped housing turned all the way loose. It never shuts up, and it has a different sound for each inch of vacuum/pressure hahaha.
That said, it...
Haha and how long ago was that? I believe the NUR spec is on backorder for a few weeks. Interestingly enough, the HKS old school and Dragger exhausts as well as downpipes are in stock. Who knows how long THAT will last though, that stuff is tough to source!
Well I know what I'm going to be...
Looks like you should have one already. Check your spam, just in case.
Nope, need the pulley too. We should get back to you on that soon, I'm not handling these orders.
What you want is teflon paste by Permatex for instance. Something like this: http://www.permatex.com/products/automotive/thread_compounds/a_thread_sealants/auto_Permatex_Thread_Sealant_with_PTFE.htm
