depends on what the gauge reads for vac, but I sit around 17-19 units of vaccum at an idle. I really don't suspect a vac leak in this case because anyything post TB would yield a lean condition unless boosting...

What about retaining the FPD and just drilling holes in the threaded shaft to feed the rail before the dampner. That way it still functions as a dampner but no longer restricts fuel flow. -thank you-

You really have to bite the bullet, and stay BPV with a cheap posch unit that works great, or pay $200 or so for a nice, quality BOV.

That is odd, with a bad leak, you would hit FCO at a low boost. Fixing the leak should not have made you hit FCO at lower boost levels, unless by fixing the leak, the next weak link broke. That is, now that the hardpipes are holding boost, you blew out your intake mani gasket. With AFRs acting...
