So I guess the majority of lowering springs do what their name implies...heh. I wonder why everyone says their new lowering springs make the car stiffer than stock when some of the lowering springs above are supposedly softer.
Yeah. :D
Does anybody have a direct comparison of Stock Springs/"X" Struts and Tanabe Springs/"X" Struts? Most people say Tanabes are stiffer yet according to the chart the Tanabes are the same as stock.
I'm doing some looking around on lowering springs right now, and the majority of the lowering springs lower your car a decent bit, but are the same stiffness as stock if not softer, and are progressive. Both qualities usually are considered negative for handling. If you're not really into...
The only reason I can see for the rears being poor in support is because they are the same rates as stock, but lower in height.
Oh well. So, anyone got information/spring rates on Whitelines/BG etc?
Well, I shot them an email here:
technical@intraxsuspension.com
Maybe we should have a few people do it so we can finally get some concrete information on them.
I'm talking to someone you guys might know as Thermactor, and he says with Bilstein/Konis they'll ride super harsh, but no bouncing, but he also says it lowers more than they say (1.6/1.3). Hmmm.
