Stereo Install w/storage space THANKS Jeff Lange

CD's won't fit in it with the door closed but my Greddy boost controller does with a little modification to the back of it.

Stereo Install w/storage space THANKS Jeff Lange

The door is spring loaded to stay open or shut. It was a little tricky to install and I had to trim the radio bezel thingy to get it to open correctly but not too bad.

Stereo Install w/storage space THANKS Jeff Lange

Here is a pic of the box with a door on it. I don't know the part number but it was pulled from a Toyota at the junk yard (don't remember what car though - sorry).

How can I clean this connection!

You may be better off, pulling the pins out of the plug (very carefully) if you can and then cleaning them that way. Then just push them back in.

Advantages of running MAS in "Blow Through"?

Yes, it helps a lot for me to understand. Thank You. Now I only have a 60-1 Trim CT-26, so would it be advantageous for me to run this method? So you wouldn't run MAFT-Pro???

Advantages of running MAS in "Blow Through"?

What are the advantages of running a GM MAS in "Blow Through" mode vs. using a stock or Lex AFM? Should I stick with my Lex or go the GM route? I am ready to purchase my MAFT-Pro and don't quite understand the full capabilities of the unit especially running the "blow through" style. And...

What kind of alarm do YOU have? Impressions?

Yup, exactly. I have the Viper 791XV and I really like it and have had no problems so far. I installed it myself and it only took me about 8 hours:biglaugh: . I made a really cool wiring diagram showing exactly how to wire it in my 90 Turbo. If you decide to do it yourself and need some help...

Modding 89+ Tail light center to light up?

Lighting up the center lens would look cool as hell. I am going to have to research this one. As far as taking the center lens off, I've done it many times to rig the 87 style lock in there. They aren't too hard to take off, just take your time. Out of the 8 or 10, I've taken apart, I only...

    Putting the engine back in

Just raise the front of the car up a little extra due to the springs. You do not have to remove the head at all.

    Putting the engine back in

It';s all about the installation angle. I have an adjustable engine leveler that works wonders for just this type of installation. You can borrow it when your're ready. In fact, give me a call and I'll give you a hand.

    MAFT-Pro Screen Shots please

Well, you know how it is....kind of like Lay's Potato Chips - "You can't eat only one !" You start out with some 89 tails, then the 3-piece spoiler, then the boost controller and turbo timer and then......it never ends does it?
