How many of you all running high hp still have a head gasket problem w/ lapped head, ARP studs and stopper gasket? I've seen mabey 8 different head torque specs, just wondering..

The plan is to do so in the future, but until I make a final decision on an aftermarket set the plan is to run treated pistons. The plan is to build a frankenstein motor to see what componets will take what. Just a little R&D with blocks my mechaninc and I have laying around.

I believe our cars are VKF (Karmen Vorkecks)...spell check. Do you have your wiring diagrams?

The reason for the question is that im planning on getting some stock pistons treated to hold high hp. I have aftermarket rods but still concidering what pistons I want to go with. Rather spen $200 on treating than $600 on pistons im not happy with. By the way, any suggestions. A former MK3...

I've read a few tranny swap threads, and no one has ever stated that you need to swap the harness. You will have to do some wiring with the neutral start though im not sure what though. Try a search to find out.

It should still crank. Just take your taillight fuse box out before it blows (trust me, since this wiring has got me beat I have gone through two of them). I can drive it during the day, but with no taillights I may have a bit of a prblem at night. Keep in mind the ecu plugs are different form...

I swaped my 87 turbo engine into the 89 body. Harness and all sensors, does anyone know which wires need to be spliced for this swap to completly work? Does anyone have an 89 and a 86-88 pinout diagram.

hmmm...how would you pin the 89 harness for the 87. im doing the same the thing myself. The problem ive been having is that the lights stay on even with the ignition off. does anyone know wich wires go where? No im not trying thread jack.

Well I finished it a bolted it up along with droping in a 89 NA intake cam and wow what a difference. Smoked a 5.0 from the line w/ 8 psi, turned up the boost and reved it and boosted to 10 psi (from the 3 lds I used to get unported ). Im happy, still want to get a suprasport to see what the...

My connectors are yellow. The engine pins are plugged up its just the body plugs that are giving me hell. Where does the HAC sensor plug up. I took it out the 87 and can't remember where to put it. Ill have to see what wires i have to splice. I think there are 5 or so. Thanks...all help is...

Why are my lights still on while down? Anybody run into this problem?
