Plain old garbage turbos? Who the hell fed you that load of BS?
Turbonetics use a Garrett cartridge for the most part. There really are not a who lota turbo menufacturers around.
The majority of companies use rebranded parts from only a handful of quality manufacturers. Unless you are...
Those are some big serious numbers you are throwing around there HP wise. Your obviously planning on running a properly built bottom end? Hope so.
As far as turbos go I really would lean towards a turbonetics if I were you and had my heart set on a BB turbo. They have a no fault warrenty...
I'm currently running the MKIV intank pump (Love how quiet it is) and the walbro inline pump (Love it's throughput, Hate it's noise)
My 2 cents on pumps.
Also a few other things to keep in mind when buying a NA that your going to swap a GTE into. You may want to hold out for a GTE in the first place.
GTE will get you better brakes right off the bat with antilock. Something your not going to have with a GE body originally.
Sound deadening is...
Of course I personally have never had one of course, I don't actually even know what one is really. I think they might be a myth in fact. I think air cooled beetles get them alot if I'm not mistaken!:icon_razz
I'm curious to know how many people here have owned their cars for a decent period...
I have a spare set of JE pistons for a 7m and was wondering what you guys think about this piston. Skirt touched when a plug dropped it's ceramic into the cylinder and got down around the side and broke a rin. It weighs within two decimal places of a gram to the others and seems to have no ring...

I remember being in Germany on newyears and blowing like 700 marks on fireworks. They have some seriously fun explosives available to just anyone there.....LOL unfortunately for some.
The emergency rooms and such brace for it every year.
Now here in...
Geeze Poodles, I go and fix up you sig pic for ya and you don't even use it! LOL
Paint should be digitally dry by now. You can bring it out for show, just don't digitally wax it for atleast a week like I said.

My machine is self designed and made so pretty much anything I can get my hands on can be made to function for my purposes. I still have a functional manual mill and lathe here to create whatever I need. I simply need a good source for new or used ballscrews.
I would say he is a truely good sport. He gave them their car back at the end of the show afterwards.
Judging by the attitudes and general way his opponents were behaving they would clearly not have done the same for him.
Just thought I would chime in here for what it's worth.
I'm running LS1 coils on a 2jz with an AEM series 2 controlling them directly sequentially. No ignitor.
Series 2 unit even offers a wizard to setup these and many other coils specifically. Sets the dwell up.
For me it was a simple...
I think how it is driven has an equally as great an influence on the motor lifespan myself. Perhaps even more.
I've seen alot of excellent motors with excellent tunes last for very short periods of time with bad/idiot/bagging drivers.
Nothing is impervious to stupid.
