What's a valet key? I thought it was just a spare... So shouldn't open just fine with the key since it's mint? The key slides in, it just wont turn. The orginal has no problems opening it. :icon_conf

I noticed the same yesterday on my dads mkiii. The replacement key opens the doors fine and starts the car but it wont open the hatch. I got the original and it opened fine.
