I have 1jz swap in my 88. The stock MA70 fuse is looking kinda of disgusting and i was wanting to replace it. So since i have the swap and using the JZ harness, i was wondering do i buy another MA70 box or go for a 1jz fuse box..or are they the same or does it not really matter... thanks...

Does the 7M-GE have a fuel dampener?

I just experinced kinda the same problem this morning while working on my 1j swap. i bypassed the dampener and my car ran alot better.i dont know why but it does..before it would idle after a couple starts and then when you give it gas it would get to about 4500rpm and die.

i was wondering how much HP can you get out if the 1j rods before you have to upgrade. i would probally cry if i slung one.. This is just for future reference.

Im kinda having the same problem right now. i can start it up a couple pf times and it will fianlly idle but at 2k rpm. but when i give it gas it just dies. i had my fuel dampener off before the swap and you gave me an idea i might haev put it back on wrong or somthing. its starting to piss me...
