    Custom is the only way to go. Cause there's too many factors on how high the turbo will sit or what angle it sits at and how forward or backwards it sits on the manifold. there's just way too many variables. unless you bought a whole kit (mani, turbo, DP and so forth) but IMO i say buy...

    i'm pretty sure thats what he used. He's a our local painter. i believe he used a hole saw and then put those ports in there. sux he's trying to sell it but buying a house is better than the car i suppose

    i piecced mine together from summit and WOTM iirc. it wasn't too bad -3 feed -10 drain running a 60-1 so i didn't need to go to -4

    thanks for the compliment its, not a "kit" per-say. its the Drewgo manifold, 60-1 garrett, and full stock IC piping.

    good point didn't even notice that. has to be 87-88 cause 86.5 targas don't exist. there was NO targa 86.5's made

    i'd guess around 12,500??? seeing as thats how much most Singled 1J clean cars go for. Start it off at 14K on multiple sites and see what happens. but that'd be my guess on price. nice car btw

    w00t told you it would work. and this thread is ANCIENT this was back before i even ORDERED my 1J hahaha and tissimo is correct it runs at full speed with out the sensor

    yea you don't really have any options bud. Anti Lag is found only on Standalone's you can get a 2-step unit from MSD though. but Anti-lag is more of a standalone feature

    if you are looking for a motorset and not a clip i recommend JHOT Imports Inc. i got my engine set from them and all was good

    first off: 2J and 1J do not have the same turbos and no a boost controller will not help prevent it. you can't run lower boost levels than stock WG runs. i didn't have too much trouble with a 3 inch exhaust no cats no resonator from the stock y-pipe back. just get an SAFC or a BCC

    mine isn't burning up. i'm sure the fw will not need to be resurfaced, and im POSITIVE that there are no stress factors. i've only done one Drag run on it since i got it running. and its not slipping like a bitch. i just know it will once i see 18psi thanks for all the help guys
