mine is located to the right of the stock ecu. there is a connector that comes off of the harness over there and you connect the fan ecu and then it sits up on the side. thats where i put mine
twins aren't TOOO bad to take out in the car.
i had them tore down to about 80% off then decided to put them back on. then when i went single i tore them both off in about an hour. wasn't that bad. easier out of the car ofcourse but wasn't bad
as for places to get clips....Driftmotion as a...
wow thats pretty homo. this just leaves another slot for me to say "thats why i do everything myself."
sorry for the bad luck man but that really sucks
yup as BigSupe said. if you get a clip it will be easier for someone that doesn't have a whole lot of experience with swaps.
i bought a motorset but knew all the pieces i needed that were left over and got them and knew where they went.
wiring is still a pita to me but thats just cause...
yea i think the stock 2JZGTE HG makes it 9:1
the sandwich plate is a pretty smart idea as well.
how long of an oil feed line do you need to make it reach the turbo?
yes my information was spot on minust the fact about the HG which Scott pointed out. it was close but i haven't read about it in a while.
i think i might be getting the NA long block from tissimo here in the next week and go ahead and start tearing it down to see if its worth it to swap...

need to pull it apart soon though and look it over, cause it was pulled out of an SC300 that blew a HG and had really low compression. need to...
i thought for sure it was a 3mm to make it 8.5:1 comp.
maybe it was 2.5mm which pushed it a little closer to 9.0:1
but yea you get the idea hahaha
thanks scott
im running my 60-1 single setup on stock JZ IC and stock JZ IC pipes.......lolol yea they fit. its amazing, but will be upgrading the IC once i get my new 90 shell in a few weeks ;)
as for the original question. 400 CRANK HP will be fine. 400whp will be ok too but would be more efficient...
the blocks are the same. the NA block does not have the oil squirters but they aren't a HUGE deal. a guy on Club NA-T was making 700-800 whp iirc on the stock block.
the pistons are different. they are higher compression, to fix this you eed to either buy TT pistons (or swap them out in your...
me too i've never seen this. please show examples. it must happen alot for you to be bitching about it.....but i've never seen it except for on a few civics locally.
